In September 2019, Garde was awarded a contract by John Holland / CPB joint venture to relocate and install new electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure for Sydney Trains and Ausgrid on the NSW Government’s Rozelle interchange project.
The scope of work included conduit installation, 33kV cable installation, overhead works, cable jointing and testing. The project was quite challenging with existing services, several work faces, groundwater and several road crossings of the eight lane City West Link.
To date, Garde’s team successfully completed the installation of Sydney Trains 33kv Feeder 759 re-diversion on time and without incident.
