Powering Sydney’s Future – Garde Secures Major Transgrid Project

Garde and our cable partner Taihan, are delighted to announce that we have successfully won the tender bid for the duct line construction and installation of 330kv cable along a 20 kilometre route from Potts Hill to Alexandria in Sydney’s inner western suburbs. After recently completing an 18 kilometre transmission project for Ausgrid, we are now looking forward to working with Transgrid on this exciting project.

The Powering Sydney’s Future project will reinforce the power supply to business and residents in the city and neighbouring communities, and will be completed by November 2021. The project will also include upgrades to substations at Potts Hill, Alexandria and Picnic Point, as well as the construction of two major cable bridges.
